RK Heliski in Panorama: You can’t get off the ground easier

RK Heliski offers an easy entry into heliskiing like no other provider in Canada. The specialist for day heliskiing in Panorama is quickly and easily accessible from Banff and Lake Louise.

Button_ski_kanada_2Many thousands of heliskiers have taken off for the first time in their lives with RK. Because RK is the absolute specialist for Daily Heliskiing and therefore the ideal provider for the start into the most exclusive form of skiing.

RK Heliski starts directly at the Ski Resort Panorama in BC

The base of RK Heliski is located directly at the ski resort of Panorama. So a day or two of heliskiing can be perfectly integrated into a ski and snowboard vacation at the resort in eastern British Columbia. Many other ski areas in the Columbia and Kootenay Valley are quite close as well. From Banff, RK even maintains a daily shuttle transfer. Those who take ski vacations in Banff and Lake Louise and book a day of heliskiing with RK are picked up early in the morning and driven back comfortably after their heliskiing adventure. That’s top service.

RK Heliski is ideal for day trips also from Banff and Lake Louise.

RK’s programs, which can be booked on a daily basis, are charged per run. A base of five runs is ideal. Depending on the shape of the day, additional runs can be booked directly with the guide. A run can include between 500 and over 1,000 meters of altitude. The annual average for RK guests is 750 meters of altitude per run. If the descents are shorter, RK grants an additional run as compensation.

Included with RK is the breakfast, during which the guides conduct the safety briefing. The standard safety equipment is provided free of charge as with all providers, and ABS avalanche backpacks can also be rented on request. An ABS on the back should be a requirement for every off-piste skier.

The first group starts immediately from the lodge in the morning, the other two are taken by bus to a second helipad and depart from there.“
